Cleave these vanilla pods with a knife, scrape the black grains. These grains bring all the vamilla flavor. Let them infuse for 15 to 20 minutes in mild milk (for instance to cook a baked custard). Take half a pod for every liter of milk. The pod can also be infused. Take it out and dry it. You can now add it to your recipe or put it in a sugar box or in a rum bottle to flavor it.
